2025 Hajj: Kano Gets 4,356 Seats From NAHCON

National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated 4,356 seats to Kano state for 2025 hajj.

Besides, the Kano state Pilgrims Welfare board has announced initial deposit of N8.4 million for next year’s pilgrimage.

The Director General of State Pilgrims Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, officially made the announcement on Monday during a meeting with local government centre officers.

The DG said the initial deposit for intending pilgrims from Kano was in line with NAHCON directive.

Alh. Danbappa who said collection of the 2025 hajj fare has commenced, urged intending pilgrims make their deposits through bank drafts and subsequently submit the draft to their preferred Local Government Hajj Center Officers.

“The collection will begin immediately and will continue until the closing date, which will be announced alongside the final Hajj fare”. DG said.

In the statement by spokesperson of the board, Suleiman Dederi, the DG further appealed intending pilgrims to ensure timely payments in accordance with the schedule added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will not extend the timeline for the 2025 Hajj.

He equally emphasized that intending pilgrims are required to submit eight passport-sized photographs, a valid international passport, and have a personal bank account for proper identification.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, prayed to Almighty Allah to grant all intending pilgrims the means and opportunity to make their Hajj payments without hardship.

Alhaji Yusif Lawan also called on Local Government Hajj Center Officers to work diligently, day and night, to ensure that the allocated seats for their respective areas are secured and properly managed.
