The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress has given support groups backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid five days to register on its newly launched online portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The council said the registration exercise was designed to improve coordination, verify participating groups and establish a reliable database for effective mobilisation across the country.
Director of the Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Silas Agara, disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja on Sunday.
He said the portal, https://www.pccsupportgroups.com/, opened on October 17, 2026, and would close on October 22, 2026.
Agara urged all support groups and volunteer networks working for Tinubu’s re-election to register within the stipulated period, regardless of whether they had previously registered with the party or other campaign structures.
He said: “Today, we are officially launching our online support group registration portal at https://www.pccsupportgroups.com/.
“The portal goes live today, 17 October 2026, and will remain open for five days, closing on 22 October 2026.
“We therefore call on all support groups and volunteer networks working for President Tinubu’s re-election to register within this window, irrespective of whether they have previously registered with the party or another campaign structure.
“This registration exercise will enable us to verify participating groups, understand their geographical spread and organisational capacity, and establish a reliable database for effective coordination and nationwide engagement.
“I urge every group to take this exercise seriously. Our objective is to build a unified mobilisation structure that is organised, accountable, responsive and prepared for the demands of the campaign ahead.”
Agara said the directorate was mandated to coordinate support groups, strengthen their organisational capacity and ensure their activities aligned with the broader objectives of the APC presidential campaign.
He described the groups as an important link between the party, its campaign organisation and Nigerians, noting that they bring together communities, professional associations, interest groups and volunteers.
According to him, the groups also help communicate government policies, explain the administration’s achievements and engage citizens on issues affecting them.
He said the demands of the 2027 general elections made organisation, discipline and sustained engagement essential, urging support groups to intensify their activities at the grassroots.
Agara added that the mobilisation strategy would focus on the record of the Tinubu administration and its Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Over the past three years, President Tinubu has undertaken major economic and institutional reforms aimed at addressing longstanding structural challenges and placing Nigeria on a path towards sustainable growth.
“I therefore call on all support groups across the federation to rise to this responsibility.
“Let us take the message to our communities, workplaces, markets and neighbourhoods. Let us build bridges across differences, promote constructive dialogue and mobilise support through credible engagement, service and responsible conduct.
“To our support group leaders and members, the message is clear: register within the stipulated period, remain active and work closely with the Directorate. We need unity of purpose, effective coordination and a shared commitment to the success of our campaign.
“As we launch this portal, I invite the media to help publicise the registration window and inform eligible support groups of the opportunity to participate.
“Together, let us build a stronger mobilisation platform in support of national development, shared prosperity and the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
