According to Hundeyin, two suspects (names withheld) were apprehended on Oct. 15 while traveling in a taxi along the Otedola Bridge during a routine stop-and-search operation.

“Further investigations led the operatives to the apprehension of the third suspect, from whom the parts were bought in Oyingbo Market, Lagos,” the police spokesperson said.

He added that the case is currently under investigation at the command’s headquarters.

Hundeyin noted that the suspects would face prosecution if found guilty after the investigation concludes.
