The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, under the combined leadership of the Director General, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, and the Chairman, Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusuf Lawan, has embarked on an official Hajj inspection visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As part of the visit, the Board’s leadership, accompanied by key management staff, paid a courtesy and official engagement visit to the Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, at the Ummuljud Office in Makkah.
The visit also featured a comprehensive inspection of pilgrims’ accommodation in Makkah, aimed at ensuring adequate welfare, comfort, and safety of Kano State pilgrims during the Hajj exercise. The inspection forms part of the Board’s commitment to maintaining high standards in service delivery and improving the overall Hajj experience for pilgrims from Kano State.
During the engagement, discussions were held on strengthening cooperation between the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board and NAHCON, as well as addressing key operational issues related to accommodation, logistics, and pilgrims’ welfare.
The leadership of the Board reaffirmed its dedication to working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth, hitch-free, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj exercise for all Kano State pilgrims.
