AIG Ammani Orders Tight Security in Kano, Jigawa for Easter Celebrations

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG), Zone One Headquarters, Kano, AIG Ahmed Ammani, fdc, has directed the Commissioners of Police in Kano and Jigawa States to implement robust security measures to ensure the safety of residents before, during, and after the Easter celebrations.

In a statement issued by the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Bashir Muhammad, the AIG assured members of the public, especially residents of Kano and Jigawa States, that adequate security arrangements have been put in place to safeguard lives and property throughout the festive period.

AIG Ammani has also ordered intensified intelligence gathering across the zone. The intelligence units have been tasked with generating actionable intelligence to proactively address and neutralize any potential threats.

While extending his warm wishes to Christian faithful on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter, the AIG urged them to use the season as an opportunity to pray for continued peace and unity within the zone and the country at large.
