APC X Eagle Forum Expels Three Executive Members Over Gross Misconduct

In a decisive move aimed at restoring discipline and order within its ranks, the All Progressives Congress (APC) X Eagle Forum has expelled three of its executive members for what it described as gross misconduct, insubordination, and engaging in defamatory activities against the leadership.

Those affected include Alkassim Fagge, who served as Vice Chairman I; Najib Bala Dawaki, the Public Relations Officer II; and Hannafi Gashash, the Treasurer.

According to a statement issued by the Forum, the Disciplinary Committee conducted a thorough investigation and found the individuals guilty of acts deemed harmful to the unity and reputation of the association. The offenses included making defamatory statements, conspiring against the leadership, showing persistent insubordination, and failing to honor invitations to appear before the committee.

Citing Article 6 of the APC X Eagle Forum’s constitution, the Committee emphasized that members or executive officials found guilty of such actions are subject to immediate dismissal. The recommendation for their expulsion was unanimous, and the decision has taken immediate effect.

The Forum described the move as necessary to preserve its integrity and ensure that internal discipline remains uncompromised. It warned that similar actions would be taken against any individual who attempts to undermine the association’s values and leadership structure.

In a statement signed by Abdullahi Abba Sambo, Public Relations Officer I, and made available to newsmen, members of the Forum were urged to unite and recommit themselves to the founding principles of the association.

“We must recommit ourselves to the ideals and principles that define our association. Discipline, loyalty, and respect for constituted authority are non-negotiable. Let us join hands to strengthen the APC and move our Forum forward,” the statement said.

The expulsion marks a significant step in the Forum’s ongoing efforts to enforce accountability and foster a culture of respect and responsibility within its leadership and general membership.
