Breaking: Kano APC Suspends National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje over Alleged Corruption

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been suspended as a member of APC in Ganduje ward.

Executive members of Ganduje ward, in Dawakin-Tofa local government area of Kano state on Monday announced the suspension of Dr. Ganduje over alleged corruption.

Addressing journalists in the state capital, the legal adviser of the ward Haladu Gwanjo Ganduje said the ward accused the former Governor of gross misconduct and misappropriation of public funds during his administration in Kano.

Gwanjo revealed that members resolved to suspend his membership after a vote of no confidence passed on the acting National Chairman of the party due to his inability to clear his name from a wide range of allegation of corruption particularly the widely celebrated dollar video.
