Kano State Police command has declared 30 notorious thugs wanted after a criminal assault unleashed on residents of Dorayi Karma quarters, Gwale local government area of Kano state.
Besides, 22 suspected perpetrators of the criminal act have already been apprehended by the command.
Police Commissioner in Kano, Muhammad Usaini Gumel, made the disclosure on Thursday during a community meeting at Dorayi Karma area.
CP Gumel who decried the killing of innocent residents as a result of the nefarious activities of the criminal elements said security agencies would go the extra mile to bring the perpetrators to book.

Police Commissioner, Muhammad Usaini Gumel, further said that he has donated 1000 Canisters of Tier Gas to the area and hundreds of armed Police would be deployed to the area henceforth.
He said, already 30 other hardened criminals are on the wanted lists of the Command and he advised their Parents and relatives to submit them to the Police before they are cut.
The Police Commissioner, said, “We cannot tolerate thugs hiding under the guise of Daba fighting to cause civic unrest in the State, and let me warn that Parents who attempted to come forward seeking Bail for their arrested Children would be arrested for complicity”.
In their separate contributions, Community Leaders of the area urged the Police to deploy more personnel to Dorayi owing to the spade of criminal activities in the densely populated area.
The community leaders worried that some of the criminals mostly find their way back to their evil deeds a few months after arrest and subsequent release.
Although, the CP was silent on the indictment, he however directed the divisional command to detain any person who came for release or bail application of the criminals.
“We would not tolerate seeing parents supporting their Criminal Children undertaking crimes against innocent indigents.
” Those on the wanted lists including Duguja, Baba Habu, Rigiji, Boris, Aminu Yankifi, Yasir, Tsasha, Kana Barrow, Audu Bagwaya, Toti, Musa Kwata, Receiver Gida Gibirawa,Baba and Gundura, Na Lutu and others.
