A Coalition All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to perfect the return of presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the ruling party.
Similarly, the coalition cited reason why the president should begin fresh process of the removal of former Governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as acting chairman of APC.
Addressing journalists on Sunday, Chairman of the coalition, Ali Mai Sango said facilitating the return of Kwankwaso back to APC is the solution to the prospect of APC in Kano in 2027.
The youth reminded the President that Kwankwaso’s political cloud in Kano and Northern Nigeria is the only assurance that can guarantee his further presidential ambition.
Citing reason why Ganduje should be sacked, Sango said the APC’s acting national chairman has failed to deliver Kano to the party in the 2023 general elections.
According to him, “We want to call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leader of our party and the father of modern Nigeria, to sack the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for his failure to deliver Kano State to the APC in the last governorship election,” he said.
