The 15th Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero on Tuesday returned to Kano after a five-day visit to Abuja, where he attended some official engagements.
His arrival at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport was met with a warm reception by traditional title holders, a retinue of aides and a large group of supporters who gathered at the airport to welcome the monarch.
The private jet that brought Emir Aminu Bayero landed at exactly 3.30 pm.
The supporters formed a convoy that escorted the 15th Emir from the airport to the Nasarawa mini palace.
Recalls that the trip was the first outing Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero outside the state since the emirate crisis started on May 23rd, 2024 with his deposition and reappointment of Malam Muhammad Sanusi II by the state governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Also, the 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II arrived last week from the UK where he defended his PhD thesis, being his own first travel out of the state since the beginning of the impasse.
