Former ASUU Chair, Eight others get Gov. Yusuf’s New Appointments

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointments of nine additional Special Advisers and other heads of government agencies to strengthen his administration’s policy drive.
In a statement issued by the Director General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf considered the appointment of former Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Bayero University branch, Professor Ibrahim Magaji Barde as Special Adviser, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
Others are Hon. Baba Abubakar Umar, now Executive Secretary, Private and Voluntary Institutions Management Board, Dr. Abdulhamid Danladi, Special Adviser on Diaspora II and Engr. Bello Muhammad Kiru, Special Adviser to the Governor on Water Resources.

Similarly, Yusuf Shuaibu Imam (Ogan Boye) is reappointed as Special Adviser on Youth and Sports, Dr. Nura Jafar Shanono is moved from Special Adviser Water Resources to Managing Director, Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA).
In the same vein, Hon. Nasir Mansur Muhammad is appointed Director General, Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs), Aminu Hamidu Bako Kofar Na’isa is to serve as Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Kano Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA).
Engr. Mukhtar Yusuf, Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Water Resources  Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA).
According to the release, all the appointments are with immediate effect.
