The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, chaired the 28th Convocation Lecture of Lagos State University (LASU).
The lecture, themed “Patriotism, Citizenship and National Ownership: The Imperative of Collective Responsibility for Nigeria’s Future”, was held at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, Main Campus, Ojo, on Tuesday.
According to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the National Chairman on Visual Communication & Events, Aminu Dahiru, the lecture was delivered by the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa.

Dr. Ganduje also witnessed the commissioning of a major infrastructure project executed by the Federal Government through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) at the university.
In recognition of his contributions, the APC National Chairman was presented with an Award of Excellence by the Lagos State University Student Union.
He was accompanied to the event by Former House of Representative Member, Bagwai/Shanono Farouk Lawal and his Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba.
