The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has finally invited his erstwhile political godfather and presidential candidate to New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to return the fold of the ruling party.
Ganduje extended similar hands of fellowship to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and former senator representing Kano central, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau to APC.

Ganduje who made the appeal on Thursday at the end of the APC stakeholders meeting in Kano declared that the ruling party is willing to absorb all members of the opposition parties back to APC.

With Ganduje’s hands of fellowship to the opposition parties, the APC national chairman may have finally succumbed to pressure mounted by the presidency to reconcile with Kwankwaso with a view to resolve their political differences.
Ganduje revealed that after a wider consultation with APC stakeholders in Kano, the party has accepted to open its doors for readmittance of aggrieved members of the party and members of opposition parties with a view to build one united and formidable political party in Kano.
The APC national Chairman emphasized plans of the ruling party to unveiled an electronic registration of members nation wide urged Nigerians to the opportunity to join the moving train. He said APC has accepted the outcome of the Supreme Court which validated the victory of Governor Abba Yusuf.
