Gov. Yusuf Condoles With Families Of Four Prominent Kano Indigenes

The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has condoled with families of four Prominent Kano Indigenes who passed on while he was away on pilgrimage.

Those the governor condoled include families of late Alhaji Ahmad Muhammad Getso, a Philanthropist cum businessman; late Mahmud Sani Madakin Gini, former Chairman of Dala Local Government; late Abdullahi Abubakar Likita, ex-chairman of Wudil Local Government; and mother of Sani Mai Katanga, an ace photojournalist.

This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano on Saturday.

According to the statement, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf described the death of such Prominent personalities as a collosal loss not only to their families but to the entire Muslim Ummah.

” It is with profound sadness but with total submission to the will of Allah that I received the news of the passing of the illustrious sons and a daughter of the state while away at the Holy Land whose contribution to our community will always be remembered and cherished and their memories will remain indelible

” On behalf of the Government and good people of the State, I extend deepest condolences to the bereaved families; may Allah grant their gentle and innocent souls eternal rest and the exalted Aljannah be their final abode

” I also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant all of us patience, fortitude, solace and strength during the trying moment to bear the irreplaceable losses.” Prayed Governor Abba Kabir
