The Chairman and Convener of Progressive Solidarity for Asiwaju (PSA), a renowned human rights and justice advocate, Chief (Dr.) Ibrahim Bamidele Emokpaire, has congratulated Hon. Gani Audu on his recent appointment as Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Edo State, describing it as a well-deserved recognition under the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
Governor Okpebholo, a former senator representing Esan Central and the current Executive Governor of Edo State, recently appointed Hon. Gani Audu—former member of the Edo State House of Assembly and former Chairman of Etsako West Local Government—as Chief of Staff.
The appointment was announced through a press release by the Governor’s spokesperson, Mr. Fred Itua, and has since received widespread commendation. Chief (Dr.) Emokpaire praised the decision, stating: “His appointment is a strategic choice. Selecting individuals who have consistently demonstrated competence and dedication in their respective fields is truly a square peg in a square hole.”
