Airlift of intending pilgrims from Nigeria to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 2024 Hajj will commence 15th May, 2024.
Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, Mallam Jalal Arabi who disclosed this on Thursday in Abuja said the first batch will depart from Kebbi state.
Mallam Arabi who made the disclosure while unveiling the two days 1st National StakeHolders summit of Nigeria’s Hajj and Umrah Industry said all is set for seamless transport of Nigerian contingents for the spiritual exercise.

NAHCON chairman said the Commission will be meeting with the respective airlines later in the day to ascertain the strategic take off centres for the airlift take off.
Over 65,500 conventional intending pilgrims met the deadline for the registration of this year’s pilgrimage.
NAHCON has approved three airlines include Max air, Air peace and the Saudi Arabia based airline, FlyNass for the airlift of the intending pilgrims.
