Idris Okuneye, a popular crossdresser known as Bobrisky, yesterday confessed to being a man while speaking to Justice Abimbola Awogboro of a Federal High Court in Lagos.
Prior to his confession in court on Friday, Bobrisky had ignited controversy over his gender status.

The crossdresser claimed to have undergone different surgeries to become a woman.
At some point, Bobrisky even said he was ready to bear a child.
However, shortly before he was handed a 6-month jail term on Friday, Justice Awogboro asked the convict of his sex, and he quickly replied, “I am a man My Lord.”
The judge ruled that the jail-term commenced from March 24, 2024, the day of his arrest.
Recall that the court had on April 5, 2024, convicted him after pleaded guilty to the four counts charge of abusing the Naira currency made against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
