The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is absent at Kano State High Court on Wednesday to defend himself on corruption charges and misappropriation of public funds accused of him.
Similarly, the absence of Dr. Hafsat Umar Ganduje, wife of the APC national chairman and other parties were clearly noticed as the hearing on the case was about to commence.

Ganduje along wife, son and others were scheduled to appear before Justice Usman Na’abba on eight count charges on Wednesday.
Although, the reason for their absence was not known yet.
Kano state government has filed eight count charges bordering on dollar bribery allegations, misappropriations and diversion of funds running into billions of naira.
