The Managing Director of Kano State Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), Haruna Danzago, has passed away.
Family sources said he died on Thursday morning at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) in Kano following ill health.

Danzago, a respected public servant and fearless politician, was known for his significant contributions to politics in Kano State.
He was appointed as the Managing Director of REMASAB on July 5, 2023, by the State governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Sources said his funeral will hold at his residence at Kurna Tudun Bojuwa, in Kano
