The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has convened its first Board meeting under the leadership of the Acting Director General, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, as part of efforts to ensure a successful forthcoming Hajj operation.
The meeting, which brought together all Board Members, was organized to foster unity, collaboration, and inclusive decision-making among key stakeholders of the Board. The Acting Director General emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and teamwork in achieving the Board’s mandate.
Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle stated that carrying all stakeholders alone is crucial to the smooth planning and execution of the upcoming Hajj exercise. He reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery to pilgrims from Kano State.
Board Members present at the meeting expressed their support for the leadership’s vision and pledged to work collectively towards ensuring a hitch-free and successful Hajj operation.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board remains dedicated to improving the welfare and overall experience of pilgrims, in line with the policies of the Kano State Government.
