The Coalition of Fulani Association has visited Karaye Local Government Area under the leadership of its Kano State Deputy Chairman, Ahmad Chanji Mangari, to listen to the concerns of Fulani pastoralists in the area.
The delegation was received by the District Head of Karaye, Alhaji Abdullahi Aminu (Turakin Karaye), where pastoralists raised complaints over encroachment on grazing reserves, blockage of cattle routes, and water points that have been converted for farming activities.

The community also appealed for the establishment of more nomadic primary schools to support education for their children. Areas listed for such schools include Kumbugawa, Badomawa, Tsauni Gidan Alhaji Hamza, Turawa Mauri, and Madobawa, as well as Yawuriji and Magajin Hajjin Kwanar Bauni.
As part of the visit, the association’s leadership also paid a courtesy call to the Karaye Divisional Police Office, where they were received by DCO Auwalu Yahaya and Inspector Crime, Abubakar Hussaini.
The Deputy Chairman was accompanied by the association’s Auditor, Lamido Idris, and Public Relations Officer, Idris Shuaibu Bayero.
