As Muslims around the world commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Jigawa political icon, Hon. Najash Abdulhamid Babura, has called on the faithful to use the occasion to renew their devotion and commitment to the Prophet’s teachings.
In his Maulud message, Babura reminded Muslims that the Prophet was sent as a mercy to mankind, urging believers to constantly send blessings upon him and emulate his virtues of justice, truthfulness, trustworthiness, patience, and compassion.

Citing both the Qur’an and Hadith, he emphasized that prayers upon the Prophet attract immense blessings, and that consistent devotion to his example is the key to building a stronger and more united Muslim community.
Babura also prayed for peace, brotherhood, and divine guidance for Muslims in Jigawa State, Nigeria, and across the world, while urging them to stand firm on the Prophet’s path.
