The Kano state command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC says it has approved the deployment of Three thousand One hundred and sixty-eight (3,168) personnel to cover Eid-el Kabir celebrations in Kano.
SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, the command public relations officer disclosed this in a statement obtained by ‘People’s Pen’ in Kano on Friday.
According to the statement, the Officers are to work in liaison and synergy with men of the Nigerian Police, DSS, FRSC, KAROTA and others in maintaining law and order as well as free flow of traffics before, during and after the festive period.

Ibrahim Idris said the state commandant of the corps Mohammed Lawal Falala tasked all officers and men to belt up and ensure protection of all critical national assets and infrastructure as enshrined in the Act establishing the Corps.
It added that the good people of Kano are hereby enjoined to cooperate with security agents, obey law and order for peaceful Eid-el Kabir celebrations in the State.
