Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso, Kano, has achieved a significant milestone by securing full accreditation for all its academic programs from the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE).
The announcement was conveyed in an official letter addressed to the Acting Provost of the College, Dr. Kabiru Ahmed Gwarzo, and signed by the Executive Secretary of the NCCE. According to a statement by the college’s Director of Public Relations, Amina Abdul-Azeez Abba, the accreditation confirms that all academic programs meet the required standards of quality and excellence set by the commission.
Reacting to the development, Dr. Gwarzo expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the achievement and commended the NCCE for its rigorous evaluation process. He also praised the dedication of the institution’s staff and students, whose efforts contributed to this remarkable feat.

“This is a historic achievement for our institution. Attaining 100% accreditation reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of everyone at Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education. Dr. Gwarzo emphasized that the accreditation status is a testament to the college’s commitment to academic excellence, infrastructure development, and staff capacity building. He attributed the institution’s progress to the unwavering support of the Kano State Government under the leadership of Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf.
He reaffirmed the college’s commitment to implementing government policies, particularly in the education sector, to further enhance the development of the state.
