President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran as the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).
Similarly, Tinubu has appointed Mr. Saleh Abubakar as the new Director-General of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall (NAGGW) and that of Mr Oluwaseun Faleye as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale announced this in a statement on Saturday.
Ms. Oloworaran, a seasoned finance and banking expert, is expected to bring her wealth of experience to lead the commission,’’ the statement said.
The appointment, subject to Senate confirmation, aims to drive efficiency and superior performance in the pension industry, with the President expecting goal-oriented leadership from Ms.

President Bola Tinubu on Saturday announced the appointment of Mr Oluwaseun Faleye as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
The statement described Faleye as a legal and corporate finance specialist.
“President Tinubu has also approved the appointment of Mrs Mojisolaoluwa Kehinde Alli-Macaulay as the Executive Director (Operations) of the Fund
“Mrs. Alli-Macaulay is a former lawmaker and former Chairperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, and Job Creation.
Also, Tinubu in the statement announced the appointment of Mr. Saleh Abubakar as the new Director-General of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall (NAGGW).
It described Mr. Abubakar as a highly experienced public administrator with decades of experience across several sectors.
