WAZOBIA Honors Ahmed Musa for Outstanding Contributions to Humanity

The Wazobia Conflict Resolution and Peace Advocacy Initiative (WACORPAI), a non-governmental organization committed to recognizing those who serve the nation with integrity and dedication, has honored former Super Eagles captain, Ambassador Ahmed Musa, OON, for his exceptional contributions to humanity and society.

The ceremony took place in Kano, where the football star was celebrated for his tireless efforts to uplift the lives of Nigerians.

Musa, a beloved sports figure, was recognized for his numerous charitable activities and the positive impact he has had on communities across the country. In acknowledgment of his exemplary service, WACORPAI bestowed upon him three prestigious awards: Eminent Peace Ambassador, Eminent Man of Integrity, and Progressive Youth Pioneer.

The awards highlight Musa’s consistent efforts to give back to society and his role as a source of inspiration to the younger generation. His dedication to helping others, often carried out quietly and without fanfare, has earned him widespread respect both within and beyond the sports community.

WACORPAI also honored Musa’s late mother, Mrs. Sarah Moses, with a posthumous award for her role in shaping his character and values. She was awarded the title of Eminent Woman of Integrity (EWI), recognizing her influence on her son’s commitment to integrity and philanthropy.

Speaking at the event, WACORPAI’s National President and Convener, Rt. Comrade Amb. Dr. Garba Sulieman D. Marafa, praised Musa for his unwavering dedication to humanity. “Ambassador Ahmed Musa has not only excelled on the football field but has also shown tremendous compassion and generosity off the field. His actions have brought smiles to the faces of countless Nigerians, and it is fitting that we recognize him for his integrity, peace advocacy, and efforts to inspire the youth,” he said.

The event marked another milestone in Musa’s celebrated career, reflecting the broader impact he has made beyond sports. His recognition as an Eminent Peace Ambassador and a man of integrity underscores the respect he commands as a role model and humanitarian.
