Chairman of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Malam Jalal Ahmed Arabi has inspected Flynas aircraft, a Saudi Arabia carrier designed to airlift the first set of Nigeria pilgrims for 2024 Hajj exercise.
The foreign airline along side two Nigeria based carriers, Air peace and Max Air are the three selected airlines designed to transport over 65,000 conventional intending pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The modern vessel 436 seats wide body aircraft had landed at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport (SABIA) in Birnin Kebbi at exactly 10:39pm on Tuesday, ready to transport pilgrims embarking on the sacred journey from the state.
On the flight tour, the NAHCON Chairman, Malam Arabi, in the company of his three permanent Commissioners and Commissioner representing North West Sheikh Mohammad Bin Othman were conducted the interior where he expressesed satisfaction on the capacity of the aircraft and the level of preparation.
Meanwhile the flight is scheduled to depart Kebbi airport with about 400 passengers between 12pm and 1pm today for Saudi Arabia after the inaugural ceremony that will be declared open by Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima.

Meanwhile, in a dinner party organized by the Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr Nasir Idris in honor of the NAHCON Chairman, the Governor expressed appreciation that for the first time, Kebbi state is hosting an inaugural flight for Hajj.
Both the host and Special Guest appreciated each other for the inaugural flight project. The Governor added that he will continue to support NAHCON and his pilgrims even in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj.
Three flights are scheduled to depart Nigeria for Saudi Arabia toady, Air Peace is scheduled to depart by 11: 30 am with 310 FCT pilgrims five officials while Max Air departs by 1: 10pm with 550 Nasarawa pilgrims and 10 officials. Both carriers will takeoff from Abuja international airport.
