The Director General Kano State pilgrims welfare Board Alh Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, today carried out an inspection visit to the accommodation facilities designated for pilgrims from Kano State in Makkah as part of early preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The visit forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place to provide Kano State pilgrims with safe, comfortable, and well-organized accommodation during the forthcoming Hajj season.



During the inspection, the Director General Abubakar Matawalle , assessed the condition of the facilities, their proximity to the Haram, and the availability of essential services required to support pilgrims throughout their stay in the Holy City. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in accommodation, welfare, and logistics to guarantee a smooth and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage for all intending pilgrims from the state.
The Director General also engaged with officials and service providers responsible for the facilities, stressing the need for strict compliance with agreed standards and timely completion of all preparations ahead of the pilgrimage.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the management to continuous monitoring and improvement of services to ensure that Kano State pilgrims receive the best possible support during the 2026 Hajj operations.
The inspection visit is part of a broader strategy to strengthen operational readiness and enhance the overall Hajj experience for pilgrims from Kano State.
