Ramadan: Kano Philanthropists Channel Fasting Gifts Through Anti Corruption Body

In order to ensure that Money and other Food Ramadan items reached those targeted Poor people, some Philanthropists have channels their Donations for sharing through the Kano Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission.

Already, Barrister Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado, Executive Chairman of the Commission, has Commenced the distribution of the food items to orphans and vulnerable individuals at about 10 centers in the State.

The gesture is said to be part of the Philanthropists effort to support the less privileged during the month of Ramadan, is to benefits over 2,000 people.

Additionally, a feeding center has been set up at Rimin Gado, where over 1500 people would be collecting on a daily basis their fasting break fast.

The food items include spaghetti, rice, and other essentials, all of which were funded by a group of philanthropists in Kano who don’t want to be mentioned but needs accurate prudent Management of the exercise.

Additionally, another 150 Orphans are set to benefits from Cash Gifts and other Food items, accordingly.

Some Beneficiaries of the gesture who spoke to Journalists expressed gratitudes to the Chairman of the Commission for ensuring that whatever was given to him by the unnamed Philanthropists reached them.
